Aisha Hinds is an American actress best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility through 2003 when she has delivered amazing performances on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her role in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to attract her interest. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biopic All the Way, which brought her the recognition she was due as an actor. The same year, she was named the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the lead role as a lead actress in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical as well as dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and fame of Bachchan were then brought together for her debut English language movie. The return of Bachchan to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked The Provoked True Story (2006). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most prominent individuals together.
